Shelling out

A good sunny day today so I've been hoeing the gravel in front of the house - I went over to planting in gravel a few years ago. Most of the weeds should have shrivelled up though undoubtedly some will recover overnight - one of the problems of hoeing in a damp climate!

Turned over the compost bins too and came to the conclusion that either we should cut down on the number of eggs we eat, or stop putting the shells in the compost bins!
