Starting a family

Out for our Sunday morning walk along the banks of the Grand Canal , these are a young pair of Swans and I think it is their first year to try to Nest there are 4 eggs as you can see and the smaller of the 2 Swans is very attentive swimming around the nest all the time and placing new grass and twigs in it,,, I hope they survive and will keep a check on it,,,, Makes the walks so rewarding
