Jeanette's Surprise Birthday Party

04/26/2014 ~ Jeanette's Surprise Birthday Party, Camlin Hotel, Downtown Seattle, WA

Jeanette's husband Bruce arranged a surprise birthday party for his wife's 60th Birthday! Bruce arranged for the children and grandchildren, her sister and brother, along with some close friends to be in attendance, about 20+ people. Some of the attendees traveled several hundred miles to be at the celebration. No one accidentally leaked the news about the party to Jeanette even though the plans had been in the works for the past couple of months!

A fun evening and with some great food, including fresh melon and strawberries, chipotle cornbread and honey butter, flank steak with demi glace and caramelized onions, shrimp kabobs, scallops kabobs, garlic mashed potatoes, and sauteed seasonal vegetables!

......There was also a chocolate layer cake with chocolate frosting inside and a marzipan frosting on the outside of the cake, incredibly delicious! (yes I do love chocolate!)

So today's blip is Jeanette in conversation with friends!
