And today he died

We spent a bit of yesterday with our tenant as her husband was being tended to in ICU. Didn't help much as he passed away this morning. Died in his sleep.

I know we're meant to say nice things about dead people, but frankly, this guy has screwed his wife over. He has left her with nothing. He could have left her with a pension, but decided not to a few years ago despite knowing that he'd die before she would. And she has 20+ years ahead of her, penniless. She has her own health problems that prevents her from working.

So I'm not going to mourn this guy's passing, but I am going to help my friend as much as I can from here on in. She has been treated awfully and I really wouldn't wish this on anyone.
