waiting

had a little more time today so i took a longer photo walk than usual ... or i should say i took a walk and then waited at one spot longer than usual. as i've been shooting more, i've been realizing that a lot of photography involves preparing + waiting and then some more waiting ... not unlike a lot of things in life. although i don't always buy into the "old sayings", sometimes good things DO come to those who wait. it took me a while to get this shot, but i was happy to get it in the end.
