"it's Friday"

Flew home last night for Easter!

Having my personal taxi service for airport journeys lately, I'd forgotten what it was like to sit on the Airlink bus and travel down Prince's Street towards the airport. When I arrived in Edinburgh this evening the sun was shining and the city looked so pretty - almost as if it were teasing me as to what I could have enjoyed on a regular basis had my no have been a yes.

After a trip to see Gary my hairdresser, to get put back together, time for a coffee catch up with this lovely lady - Jayney! She's already been off for 2 weeks with the school holidays! 2 weeks!! I only get 4 days! :(

We returned to one of our summer job lunchtime haunts - Ruby's, where we started to put plans in place for our trip to London in 14 days!!

And to finish the day, the Good Friday church service. Our church, as always, had been stripped of its 'decor' leaving it bare - by way of helping us to focus solely on the cross. But as our minister, Brian Harper reminded us, we have already read the last page of the story and know what happens next, because it's Friday, it's only Friday....

....Sunday's a coming!!
