Bubbles and tea

Had a lovely afternoon and evening out with the girls. Started with a Champagne Afternoon Tea held in The Library Lounge of the London Marriott Hotel, housed in the London County Hall in Westminster, London. Tea at County Hall is a very civilised affair. You are welcomed with a glass of champagne which is topped up throughout the afternoon! This is followed by a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate homemade cakes.

Early evening we headed over to Covent Garden to the Covent Garden Cocktail Club where we drank cocktails and danced the night away until it was time to catch the last train home.

A fabulous day out with, perhaps, too much to drink, but a great time had by all. The photo was taken on my new phone, so it's not the best quality!
