About halfway through our little trip I received a text from my house alarm system. There was an intruder in my home in Liverpool. I needed to cut short the railway trip and get home. I phoned the Police who phoned me back a little later. I had indeed been BURGLED! That's twice in six months - I am seriously thinking of "selling-up" and getting a retirement place?
