Happy Memories

We were planning on going to the nearby island, Formentera, today, but because the season doesn't officially start til thursday, the cheaper boat wasn't running - otherwise it would've been almost 50 euros each, for a day trip!!!
In the end, it was a really lovely day! We took a slow walk from theirs into town, stopping at a lovely patisserie that had caught Uncle Trevor's eye early on in the week! We then went on to the port...bumped into 2 of our Spanish friends, lovely for Mom and Dad to meet them - we've met someone we know almost everyday! Had a fantastic late lunch at the top of the city walls, looking out over the rooftops of Ibiza Town. The men went off to look at boats before walking home, whist we ladies strolled round the Old Town and I took them to where I pray if I don't go into the gypsy area...It was lovely to have a slow meander with them!
Everyone came over for our friday night tradition of smoked salmon, egg and chips! It went down very well! We went out for a dessert of frozen yoghurts and came back for a Disney. Perfection. I especially loved that they all were part of our friday family tradition - at the end of this week we have so many lovely memories to keep with us as they go home tomorrow...
This photo is of the street the yoghurt place is on, looking at the Old Town walls.
