Maltese glass
After the usual Saturday shopping for relatives we visited my mother in North Berwick. Our daughter had been in Malta for her grandma's birthday so this was a chance to catch up - and have a lovely lunch.
Our daughter had brought back some Mdina glassware as a present. This was in the form of an apple paperweight. The combination of vivid colours and swirls is typical of this company's design. It's been in operation since 1968 but since then has established a distinctive style.
It also makes an interesting blip!
