Nicky and her Nikon

Wisteria

This morning we had some chores to do in the village, and I noticed this beautiful wisteria growing outside one of the lovely old houses in the village. The village was buzzing today as the steam fair was in town, and it was also market day and all the market stalls had been set up selling delicious looking wares - olives, pies, cakes, pastries, curry sauces, and some huge Scotch eggs. I dashed into the stationers with Thomas and left Gavin buying some Scotch eggs that were on display, golden brown and crispy on the outside and ready to sink one's teeth into. Imagine my surprise when he brought home something that looked nothing like that - I think the version he bought has to still be cooked, but I don't know how or for how long for as there were two stalls selling Scotch eggs and one said 'fried' and the other said 'baked' and he cannot remember where he got them from!!

I was also outraged surprised to see that further along a stall had been set up by UKIP to canvas voters - a brave move by them, considering our area has been blue for many years now and I doubt voters will be changing to vote for UKIP any time soon. I am not really political but I cannot imagine anyone voting for that numpty Farage and his cronies.
