Quiet Waters

The Snohomish river looked quiet and peaceful, but if you really watch the current you could tell that if you jumped in you would be hard pressed to make it to the other side. The waters were flowing fairly swift.

The object in the water was an old pier I think. It has been there for decades, but didn't make it through the winter this year. There is a farm on the far side of the river. We didn't see any cows out and about this afternoon. Maybe it was time for milking or they were just in a different pasture.

any ways... The day turned out to be quite lovely and close to 60 degrees. When the sun is out it is always warmer. I think because otherwise all you feel is the dampness which makes it feel colder. We are grateful for the sunshine!! My girlfriend , Obie and I all went for a walk and were glad that we did.
