The only way to travel...

I had a lovely day out in Lichfield with a friend. It's a great place for having lunch and we did a bit of retail therapy too.

I had hoped to blip the spectacular cathedral with it's 3 spires, but we spotted this Great Crested Grebe and her babies while we walked around the Stow Pool.

I've never got this close to a grebe and her young before. SO this had to be my blip today.
