Found another route, where a footpath had become a mini stream. Aquifers must be so full. Flowers exploding all around and got home before the rain. Blip at local farm shop, straight out of Buds of May. Lots of hens, chicks and gorgeous cattle, Guernseys I think. Fresh asparagus for dinner, ham and butter mmmmm.
