Planting Day

Some of the plants we purchased the other day went into the ground (well pots anyway) today. My wife is a plant crazy person. She used to have a large yard when we lived in the United States in which to experiment, but since coming to Mexico has been reduced to a smattering of pots and planters. It is a real shame too as there are so many different plants considering this a tropical climate and they are so inexpensive compared to what she used to pay. Fortunately she has taken over caring for another apartment in the complex and has a whole new set of plants to work with. She continually changes out old for new, like today, as she gets ready to move some under performers to the new place and so she can experience the joy of getting her hands dirty (metaphorically anyway as she has wisely started wearing gloves knowing that all sorts of nasty critters also live in the tropics).
