Apologies, 3 butterflies in a row!
So often these pretty Orange Tip butterflies have flown through our garden but they never seemed tempted by the flowers on offer. This afternoon, Elizabeth (86 and still up for an adventure) accompanied me to the hides at the end of Lake Geneva to watch a multitude of water birds flirting and nesting. On the way back to the car we were presented with a free gift, this beautiful Orange Tip posing in the sunshine. what a colour contrast to yesterday's Green Hairstripe.
