I stopped to blip this cow on the way to the vet's with Monty. She took exception and tried to hide behind that tree.

Disappointingly, there is no barbed wire to be seen!

The vet gave Monty another dose of antibiotics by injection, but said that the abscess is healing well and she doesn't need to see him again. He miaowed plaintively all the way there and back in the car, just to make me feel guilty, I'm sure.

Gill and I attended a super charity concert in Killearn, with breathtaking performances by pupils from Douglas Academy School of Music and a trio of ex-National Youth Orchestra of Scotland members, now professional musicians. Fantastic talent from ones so young!
