Proper rain

My flowers flung themselves open in the much anticipated promise of rain. Though it was dull and over cast all day, went into the city which was strangely quiet but we did see 8 wedding taking place on our wanders??!! Was it a special, significant date or something??

Then the rain began - proper, actual rain! I thought the noise was the kettle boiling at first then realised that I hadnt heard that sound for a bloody long time! (therefore it couldnt have been the kettle!) Listening to the rain and watching ET - I love that film! :)
