Palm Springs Day 3 - Indian Canyons

(part of a series of backblips - I am slowly catching up!)

Today we headed to the Indian Canyons and the Palm Springs Tramway.

At the Canyons we stopped fisrt at the waterfall (see behind the girls here); as you can see not much water. It only rains about 4 times a year in Palm Springs! We then went to Andreas Canyon for a hike and picnic in the oasis.

I didn't take any pictures on the tramway or up at the scenic viewpoint - I just didn't feel very good (it went up 8,500 feet). I am not scared of heights but I think the altitude played a role. As I wasn't feeling well we didn't spend much time in the San Jacinto state park at the top and came back down.
