'Rat Talk'

Dylan has been promised that he can have 2 female rats for his birthday this year. He's obsessed with them at the moment and has been watching videos yesterday and today on how you can train rats to do tricks unlike mice. He found some great stuff on YouTube and has already told me that he wants to knit them Hawks scarves as presents for them when they arrive.

This is just before bedtime tonight, he had to get in the mood with a quick play around with one of his mice.

I picked up the kids this morning from their Nana's house and we went down to the Hawks open training session at the Ricoh centre out at Waverley, luckily we just made it back to the car before the rain hit.

On the way home Bella fell asleep in the car and was still sleeping when we arrived home. Transferred her into our bed and she slept for another couple of hours. She must have been stonkered.

MsMun made the absolute best fish chowder I've ever tasted in my life tonight, it was so full of flavour and lush textures (and I'm not a big seafood fan). I just hope she remembers to write it down before it's lost forever.

More football on TV tonight, and tomorrow the Hawks are playing the Richmond Tigers who beat us last year in the game we took Sleepyhead to. Let's hope we can get them back this year.

Thanks everyone for putting Booker T up in the spotlight early this morning. I've added a few more shots from last nights great gig HERE if you're interested.
