A pig in a poke

Having been totally frozen out after about lunchtime yesterday, seeing a brief thaw in the ice, I decide to do all my Christmas food shopping this morning.

As Christmas diner itself is being laid on by my cousin Geoff, it's just a question of hitting Lidgates in Holland Park and stocking up on anything else that isn't poultry or pork related.

The piglet looks like it's smiling, but the grin is actually a bay leaf. Mind you it can afford to smile at a hundred and forty quid.
