I was back in St Annes this afternoon to try some more contact lenses, between trying to find free parking and wandering about testing contact lenses I am discovering quite a lot of St Annes I haven't seen before. I stumbled across this Blue Plaque on the wall of a building about 300 metres from the sea, they must have had quite a trek to launch the life boat!
This plaque wasn't listed on the Open Plaques site - but it is now :)
Contact lenses? My eyes don't suit them, so I am stuck with the specs, not really a problem, I only really wanted them so I could run and look at the map a bit more easily, especially in the rain.
