Palm Sunday

As usual, at church today we each received our palm cross (somewhat smaller than usual) so it was added to my collection.

It is still our custom to keep these until next year and burn them to get ash for the cross on one’s forehead on Ash Wednesday. Come to think of it, I don’t really know the origin of this custom, must find out.

So glad I painted my nails!
