Philosopher picks up Nugget

We were keeping "nugget" safe and warm for gooses's parents who were visiting her and our son gander for the past three weeks. Their son The Philosopher had flown in to town for the holidays. He came and got their car lovingly named "nugget". He then picked up his parents at the airport and they all drove down to "home" to meet other family members and celebrate the holidays. There was a huge blizzard type snowstorm back in the DC area so getting back here was a major hassel for goose's brother. Having traveled back to family in Ohio and Pa. for many winter holidays in the past, I could really relate to nights spend on an ariport floor and plane delays and cancellations! A tough time to fly! We are glad he had a safe flight "home" finally and know his parents and family were delighted to all be together again. We know they will dearly miss gooseandgander, as will we, but we are all so glad they are having such a wonderful experience this year in Shenzhen!
