Squirrel Nut!

Whenever I think of squirrels and nuts, I think of candy. These were penny candy items from my childhood days. They were hard and chewy and nutty. They lasted a long time. They were among the two-fers as they cost two for a penny. I now prefer to take photos of the squirrels and leave the nuts for them to gather. This guy ran all over the back yards early today. He must have had a productive day!

It was a lovely day today. The wind finally died down. However, today was the best of the weekend according to the weather guys!
