Raindrops

What a miserable day, for once I'm glad I've been cooped up inside! Not a very productive day though as I'm writing up the next stats report and as always it's hard to get started. Not a bad topic though, on how we have a different process for the perception of faces than objects - we process faces as a whole but objects by their parts. It is therefore difficult to identify familiar faces when they are turned upside down, as we are no longer able to use our usual facial processing system.
