Live one day at a time

The 'Live one day at a time' poster on my bedroom wall. Someone good at photography could probably get the lighting in this better but meh...

Lovely to arrive home, walk in and see my flat is probably tidier than I've ever had it. This is a huge struggle for me, so lovely to come home to.

Feel like I've been gone yonks. One day closer to Majorca.

First I've gotta get work stuff tidied up for when I'm away - including passing some stuff on to my part-time Administrator.

Kinda wish I had the benefit of an office job, just put an out-of-office on email, ans park everything till my return. Then again, no office job has ever been rewarding like this is.

Yesterday morning (day 3 of 4 delivering mental health training to new Prison Officers) an official-looking suited guy asked to sit-in on part of the training.

Was told today he was part of Senior Management in the prison - that he'd been very happy with feedback forms from 1st two days, and wanted to see a little of it for himself. Reported that he was very impressed with what he saw - both the instructor herself and her facilitation style!

I love how much they seemed to love my training, but more than that I love how much of a positive difference I believe it will have on the lives of prisoners.

3 more days to Majorca :-)

On that note, yes a long blip, but you can look forward to no work talk from me for a while!
