If sausages be the food of love.... Eat on

I bought a bacon roll from this chirpy chappy...
To which he replied.

"I hope you'll try my sausage next time"

It inspired me on the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth to write:

If sausages be the food of innuendo, eat on;
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken, and so die.
That aroma again! it had a frying call:
O, it came o'er my mouth like the sweet taste,
That breathes upon a pan of frying onions,
Stealing and giving odour! Enough; no more:
'Tis not so sweet now as it was before.
