Shengdanjie Kuaile! Merry Christmas!

Reason number 5489 why I love my students.

We've both been teaching about Christmas, and part of our lesson includes showing some Christmas decorations family and friends have sent us from back home- stockings, window clings, an advent calendar.

In my Senior 1, Class 2 today I passed around this stocking for them to see and we talked about what gets put in stockings.

When they handed it back to me at the end of class, it was full and they were beaming with excitement. :)

I opened it when I came back to the office and found several notes, some candy, a BANDAID, and 3 kuai. Love it.
