Blue

It was very wet and misty as we headed for town to do boring bank business, after visiting an old friend now in a nursing home following a bad stroke 5 months ago. He still can't communicate though I do feel he understands what is going on to some degree. It it so distressing to see him, but how much harder is must be for him if he is aware.

I took the blip of the new ceiling in Eldon Square on the way to see about my camera. The camera department man in John Lewis thought it was static that was causing it not to turn on after a few times. (I was always having to take the battery out and it worked a few times then would stop.) I hope he is right and that he has fixed it as otherwise it has to go to Canon for a month. And I want it for my friend's lovely gardens. Heigh oh, I have no luck with cameras.
