Marsh Marigolds

Had a very wet walkies with Jo and Fossey today. Jo said Fossey really wasn't keen to go out, but she told her they were meeting me ( she really does know people's names ) and she quickly changed her mind!

Not sure it was a good idea for any of us be out there though, the rain was quite steady and showed no signs of " moving north " as promised on the morning weather report.

These Marsh Marigolds appeared last year, after the constant rain that we had in 2012 saturated the ground. It's never really dried out and the Marigolds have come back again this year, though we did have to skirt round the boggy area quite carefully to get to them. Fossey wasn't keen to sit in the damp either so I just let her hover next to them!
