Crown Imperial Lily

This quite spectacular yellow flower is a Frittilaria Imperialis. While enjoying a walk in Greenbank Gardens this morning I spotted this plant growing in a shady corner. According to Google the bulb produces up to six bell-shaped flowers hanging below a top knot of leaves which are held on a single stem.
