An unexpectedly joyous day - learned late this afternoon that my friend James and his wife Jacqui had bought the Blue Blazer. James used to be the manager there and it was a regular haunt, but since he left it had gone downhill so it's great news that he's in charge again. It would have been rude not to pop in for a wee celebratory drink...
