Lincoln Cathedral by Night
Lincoln (England) has a magnificent Cathedral, most of the present building of which was constructed between 1192 and somewhere around 1245. It was actually the tallest building in the world for 238 years until its central spire fell down in a storm in 1548 (the spire has never been replaced).
We visited it today and I delayed taking my blip until I had a chance to photograph it by night. This picture is taken from near the castle - which itself is a magnificent building but which is currently undergoing some renovation.
