This fern is just starting to open up. Here in the Pacific NW we have quite a lot of ferns and I have no idea how many varieties there are. I know I have at least 3 or 4 varieties just on our property.
We trimmed all the ferns last month on one of those beautiful spring days, when you can't believe you were so blessed with such an awesome day!!
So now when the ferns unfurl they will look really nice with out the old growth to make them look dingy! Here's to Spring and new growth!!
