Had a call from the doctor Dad saw yesterday. He's seen the CT scan that Dad had done last year and he's now telling us that it's dementia. Even though the hospital doctor told us last year that it wasn't. I'm so confused. The psychiatrist says he can't prescribe any tablets for Dad as they would cause him to be unsteady and he's concerned he may fall again. The whole reason the care home got him recommended was because of his bad behaviour. So it's either ask for meds and risk a fall or stay the way he is and have him get violent every few days. I guess I need another meeting with the care home.
