The Aussie outback

With a little bit of a late start, but another good rest for me and Little A, we set off on bikes.

We got about 300m. Little A caught his heel in the spokes and we had to turn back. Fortunately, it was more a shock than anything serious, but he has had a good old wallop on his heel. The picnic was diverted to the side of the Amstel down the road, Little A sporting some new flip-flops; sandwiches, strawberries and cream and profiteroles giving us the energy to urge on the passing rowers. We'd missed the stormy skies that were looming in this shot.
