Nearly Missed It

Real shock this morning - e-mail from the RFU informing us that for the first time ever no tickets would be on sale on the day of the match.

Forty years ago there used to be around 1,500 > 2,000 of us, over the years attendance has risen to the point where there will be 83,000 next Saturday.

It's one of the few, if not the only, match at Twickenham where no one is really bothered about the result. On Saturday 03 May Twickenham will sell more alcohol in one day than on any other three internationals combined.

Oh and we got our sixteen tickets.
