Glorious Day!
I had my private photo session today and what a wonderful experience! Stephen showed me how to work the fill-flash, worked with me on DOF, landscapes, architecture and composition. Three hours of total fun and learning! I took a little over 300 shots, and subsequently deleted about 200. Other than some very minor cropping and straightening, I didn't do any edits at all on the keepers.
I picked this one because it's a landscape ... and I like it. But, there were so many others that I also liked... I posted 42 on Flickr and I don't expect most of you to have any interest in plowing through them, but IF you do, they start HERE. - not for the faint of heart.
If you'd like to see a few that I particularly liked, follow the links below...
Yep, that's me in the reflection...
Dark and light - completely out of my comfort zone
Window through a window...
A different sort of landscape
A new take on an old picket fence
Lines and shadows and an old mossy bench
Possibly my personal favorite of the day
Reflections in a window
Relfections of a new red truck in the old window
And, in my wheelhouse, a cabbage white butterfly
Simple dinner tonight ... omelets with herbs and a nice big salad. And some savignon blanc, of course...
Cheers.
