Joe's camera

So another migraine today, my brain choosing a new form of attack on itself this time... migraine in the sleep! Waking up in pain without any of the usual warning signals took a bit of getting used to. Wondering why the whole left side of my head was in agony, I rolled around and tried to get back to sleep before realising the familiar feel of the pain and the piercing light coming from, well, nowhere... It's a dark room, but still the light burns when my eyes are open.

After the intital shock had worn off, it was time to get up and move to the living room, with the fireplace and comfy sofa to lie on. Apparently in my writing agony and confusion earlier, I had told wonderful Nomi just to leave me alone while she tried to help me. She did as I asked but not very happy about it, she returned later in the day with some much needed Powerade. I love that woman.

As the evening unfolded, Joe asked if he could bring round the camera he is selling because I was keen to take a look at it as part of my quest for a new camera. Fresh air was essential despite the chill in the air so we decided to meet half way between our houses, which are only 10 or 15 minutes away. By the time I got home, the banana bread my better half had been baking was cool enough to eat, that gave me the second sugar boost of the night, after a migraine sugar is essential to me because of extreme cravings, and it tasted fantastic.

As leaving the house to play with the camera was out of the question, the only and rather predictable subject for me to test the camera on was the night sky. Here are the results!

So a trip to the doctor should be on the cards soon, thats 4 migraines in 5 months. They havent been this persistant in years and they are becoming more severe, I was sick this time, a delight that I havent encountered in over 5 years.

I'm feeling a bit better while I write this but still pretty fragile after 2 days.
