Arrived at Arrecife bang on time and after a fortyish minute minibus ride we were in our villa and in our pool before noon. Blue sky, sun shining. Just what we wanted.

An afternoon in the sun, a trip down to the local shops and cafe for the first cafe con leche of the holiday and I felt pretty good. Some food, a few cold Canarian beers, a night swim and it was all over by about 9 o'clock. Zzzz....
