Traditional festive robin pic
The robin redbreast (Erithacus rubecula) is a very bold birdie at this time of year, coming up very close to us great gallumphing humans in the hope of a scrap of something.
I had a few other bird pics in the camera, flocks of goldfinch, a greenfinch and a just-missed shot of a low-flying heron against the late afternoon sun. Another day.
Up fairly bright this morning to go to the dentist to get my tooth repaired (and another filling in the lower jaw. While the dentist is a rather small and serious woman, her assistant who operates the sucky tube thingy and mixes the amalgam, etc is a huge bloke, built like a rugby lock forward. Interesting to see him dressed up as Santa's little helper today. 8^O Sadly the moment was never right to get out the camera for a blip :(
