Grey wagtail

Today's the day ........................ to catch flies

There were two grey wagtails hopping about on boulders in the River Kent as I walked home from town at lunchtime.

They're quite hard to photograph as they never keep still for very long - and those tails are always wagging. But I was quite pleased to catch this one - just as she caught a fly.

That would be lunch sorted then ...................
