What a difference ......

....... two hours can make.

I took this at 06.30 this morning - in the garden - blue sky and early morning dew - now it's quite dull, the sunshine has gone and the sky is more grey than anything else!!

This is apple blossom (a cooking apple tree - can't remember exactly which one - we planted it 20 years ago) - I like this blossom as the buds are vivid pink but when the flowers unfurl they change into this delicate colour.

Yesterday turned into the 320 mile drive ... the things that I suspected wouldn't happen at 08.30 didn't .... and it was straight home rather than the long trek to London from Scotland (and then home) ......
Walked into the house at 3.30pm after getting up before 05.00 .... a long old day!! Didn't really help that my male colleague is rather deaf (and doesn't listen either despite his hearing aid) and also that we needed to stop every 80 or so miles for "conveniences"!!! He's a lovely chap in smaller doses but just a little boring when you have to spend so long cooped up in the car with him.

Tomorrow will be exciting .... a blipmeet with a lovely "new to blip" person (we have spoken on the phone and neither of us barely had time to draw breath!!) ..... so watch this space for something "wild", something "street", something "landscape" or just something completely "wacky" ..... it will all be weather dependant and we do have a loose plan ....... but I suspect it's going to be a crazy day with lots of laughter and cake!!!!!! Woo-hoo!!!
