Threads!

Very excited that one of my photos was part of the photo exhibition at the recently concluded Bahrain Heritage Festival held at the National Museum. Thanks CPA Bahrain for a wonderful opportunity.

About the photo...
Fabric weaving is an art that has been practiced in the town of Bani Jamra for decades. In order to weave, the thread has to be painstakingly transferred from its original spool to one that would fit the weaving apparatus. This photo depicts the process of transferring the thread.
