Santa's Early Stop

Ory Family Christmas Reciepe:

60 assorted relatives
Crockpots of yummy food
Cookies and brownies
Sea of brightly wrapped presents

Mix and stir and jump for joy for 5 hours. Pay close attention to names called out by Uncle Mike, especially when spelled backwards. Make piles of gifts making sure not to mix in with wrapping paper in trash bags. Make sure to thank each aunt & uncle as each child unwraps a gift. Attempt to find gift tag after gift has been unwrapped across the room to see which aunt & uncle to thank. Don't forget to take pictures!

As 9:00 comes around, inform delirious children it is time to put away all of the cousin's toys, time to go home. 45 minutes later, after loading up all gifts and children, start 1 1/2 hour trek home. (We are NOT discussing the 2 1/2 hours it took to get there 2 hours late!)

** Bite tongue when you discover the auto focus button on the camera lens popped out JUST as Santa jingled his bells and the door was flung open and all 12 kids drag tons of presents through the house.....and you don't get any pictures of it!!!! Give special thanks to uncle who fixes button.

Repeat each and every year. It just doesn't get any better!
