Groynes

These are the groynes on Eastbourne beach, placed there to prevent the beach getting washed away. Whilst we were in Eastbourne a boat came very close to shore and sprayed more shingle onto the beach, it came flying out the boat in a huge rainbow arc. it was quite a sight, especially when they did it at night when the tide was high. This was taken during a little ice cream wander along the shore at 6pm in the evening, it was still quite warm and the shadows were pleasingly long.
