VIKINGS

This is an interior window of the British Museum, London. The museum has a wonderful glass ceiling which is reflected on this window. It's a bit squint but it was very bright and I couldn't really see the screen!

We went to the Vikings Exhibition here. It was fantastic, they really got around those Vikings, treasures from far and wide. Of course photos weren't allowed..well not while anyone was watching at least :-) I would love to have my DNA analysed to see if I have any Viking genes, there was an interesting map of Viking genes present in today's population. Unsurprisingly the highest percentage are to be found in the Shetland and Orkney Isles.
