Sintra

Welcome to the town of fairytale castles and cherry liquor. About an hour away from Lisbon and you enter a place you could dream of. There are about 7 or 8 castles all located about 5-10min drive from one another with a view of the sea. The architects of them pretty much visited Disneyland before coming up with their designs.

A group of us from the hostel just decided to go today. And that was it, meeting at reception at 10 and that was it, we're off!

Such a beautiful place, shame there was only enough time to visit 2 castles. But I managed to try the cherry liquor in a chocolate shot glass drink which sure was nice! Could easily have had another!

Back to Home Hostel for Mama's final dinner before I leave to go back to the UK tomorrow afternoon.
