Salt Pig

Geoff Fuller appears to have got his mojo back making Salt pigs.
He makes them in a very traditional style and I just love this one he gave me.
The Salt pig earned its name from the word pig which was used in old Scotland to refer to a vessel made from earthenware.
They're mostly made of ceramic, earthenware or porcelain which is used to keep salt in such a way that it is easy to pinch or spoon it into dishes.
